A Crafty Daughter...

When my daughters were born I had dreams of crafting with them - something that I loved to do. But, soon I realized, we don't always like the same things - and that's okay!!!! But when they say they want help making something, I'm right on top of that!! My oldest saw a project that I completed at "craft day" yesterday - thanks Robin and Karen :) - and wanted to make one for her friend at school. YAY!!!
This is Ellie with her completed project. The directions we used are here. Thanks for the fun time Ellie! We had fun talking and working together!
I'm positive her friend will love it! Who wouldn't?

Isn't this the cutest!

A couple of months ago I went through all my pictures. I came across this one of my niece and my daughters in my Mom and Dad's raspberry patch. I know it isn't the best quality, but it is so adorable! Look at those faces!!!!! This picture was from August of 2002 - almost 7 years ago! Time sure flies when you are having fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Alison and Ellie (then 6 years old), and Josie (3 years old). Aren't they so cute!

Thanks for looking!

Verve Challenge Day 1

This is my submission for the Verve Stamps challenge on Splitcoaststampers website. There are four challenges - one a day, starting today. Today's challenge was to use the cardstock colors, red riding hood, blush blossom and kraft. I hope to complete the next three - three in three days - that will be an accomplishment for me!!!! Sure was fun, though. I haven't used this set in awhile and it's one of my favorites!

If I do complete all four days, I'm elligible for a drawing for 6 new stamp sets from Verve. I don't have any of their stamps, so I'm hoping! You should give it a try!!!!

Thanks for looking!
